OUR FOUNDER

The Late Bishop
Alexander J. Hardy, Jr.

Bishop Alexander J. Hardy, Jr., born and raised in Snow Hill, Maryland, faithfully served both his country and the Kingdom of God. A proud U.S. Army veteran of 23 years, Bishop Hardy’s ministry journey began while stationed at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (1984–1988), where he was ordained as an Elder and later installed as Senior Pastor of Holy Ghost Corner Church of God in Christ.

Bishop Alexander Hardy Jr

From 1988 to 1990, he served as Gospel Lay Leader for the Fort Detrick Post Chapel Gospel Service in Frederick, Maryland. Following this, he became Superintendent of the Western Maryland Progressive District COGIC and later founded Pentecostal Tabernacle Ministries (PTM) in Mount Pleasant, Maryland, where he pastored from 1991 to 2007.

During this time, Bishop Hardy’s heart for missions led him to partner with Bishop Joel Bukenya of Uganda, supporting the Blessed Hope Academy and Orphanage. He also established Kingdom Dominion Covenant Ministries, providing spiritual covering for churches across several U.S. states, Uganda, and Nicaragua.

In July 2007, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, Bishop Hardy transitioned from the Church of God in Christ and aligned with Bishop Ralph L. Dennis, Prelate of Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries (KFCM). He then renamed the ministry New Dimension Worship Center, marking a new era of Kingdom vision and expansion. In July 2011, he was consecrated as Bishop by Bishop Dennis.

Bishop Hardy served faithfully until his transition on May 5, 2022, leaving behind a lasting legacy of faith, leadership, and Kingdom impact. His vision continues to shape NDWC’s mission of equipping God’s people and advancing His Kingdom through a life-transforming relationship with Christ.

CONTINUING THE VISION

The Late Pastor
Timothy L. Shockley

Pastor Timothy Shockley, the Assistant Pastor and appointed successor, faithfully assumed the role of Senior Pastor in June 2022 and served until his passing on October 23, 2024. During his tenure, though brief, Pastor Shockley made a profound impact as he continued to advance the ministry’s vision — Pushing a Generation from Religion to Relationship.

Pastor Timothy Shockley

He passionately encouraged the people of God to cultivate a deep, personal, and intimate relationship with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. His dynamic teaching and preaching inspired believers to move forward with urgency, recognizing the significance of the Kingdom.

Pastor Shockley’s heart’s desire was to raise up true disciples who would embrace the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 — to “go and make disciples of all nations.” He championed a call to take Jesus beyond the four walls of the church and into the community, embodying the mission to grow and go for the glory of God.

THE LEGACY CONTINUES

Pastor Anita Glover

Senior Pastor

Pastor Anita Glover serves as the Senior Pastor of New Dimension Worship Center in Frederick, Maryland. Following in the legacy of her parents, the late Bishop Alexander and Overseer Barbara Hardy, she carries a deep passion for teaching, motivating, and encouraging the Body of Christ—especially young adults—to move beyond religion and embrace a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Anita Glover

A native of Snow Hill, Maryland, Pastor Glover experienced life around the world while traveling with her father during his military service. She lived in Belgium, several states across the U.S., and ultimately graduated from high school in Wahiawa, Hawaii. These experiences shaped her global perspective and deepened her heart for people from all walks of life.

Pastor Glover accepted Christ at the tender age of 10, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and service. Over the years, she has faithfully served in numerous ministry roles, including Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Women’s Ministry Leader, Praise and Worship Leader, Choir Member, Sunday School and Bible Study Teacher, and Instructor for Eldership and Ministers in Training.

Committed to both academic and spiritual growth, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Messiah College (1992) and completed her Eldership Training through Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries (KFCM), where she was ordained as an Elder in 2002. On January 12, 2025, she was officially installed as the Senior Pastor of New Dimension Worship Center, marking a new and exciting chapter in her ministry journey.

Before stepping into full-time pastoral ministry, Pastor Glover dedicated many years to Christian education, serving as Student Life Director, College Advisor, and High School Bible Instructor at New Life Christian School, where she was also a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Her greatest joy, however, is found in her family. She is blessed to share life with her husband, Hoyt Phillip Glover, and together they are the proud parents of two children, Anyaé Nycole and Micah Alexander. While her ministry roles are many, Pastor Glover often declares that her most cherished calling is being a devoted wife and mother.

Through the gifts God has entrusted to her, Pastor Glover remains committed to fulfilling His plan and advancing the Kingdom of God—working diligently “while it is day” (John 9:4) to impact lives for Christ.

What We Believe

Concerning God

toggle arrow

God is a true God consisting in three distinct Persons or Positions: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, 3:16-17; I John 5:7-8; John 14:6-17; II Corinthians 13:14);

Concerning Jesus Christ

toggle arrow

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father and is God incarnate, being the fullness of the Godhead bodily and Savior of the world. He is conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very Man. Jesus alone is the provision of salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14-18; Romans 1:20; Colossians 2:9; Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12, 22; Romans 5:11);

Concerning The Holy Spirit

toggle arrow

The Holy Spirit operates as the unlimited and indivisible presence of Jesus Christ on earth as Comforter and Advocate, convicts of sin, draws the sinner to Christ, indwelling every born-again believer and making the believer’s body His temple. (John 14:16-17, 26; John 15:26; John 16:7-8; I Corinthians 6:19-20);

Concerning The Holy Scriptures

toggle arrow

The Holy Scriptures, the Bible, is the infallible Word of God and is therefore without error and is eternally reliable in all matters of Christian faith and practice. The Scripture shall not be added to, superseded, or changed by later tradition or revelation. Every doctrinal formation, whether of creed, confession, or theology, must be put to the test of the full counsel of God as revealed in the Scriptures consisting of 66 books, from Genesis to Malachi in the Old Testament and from Matthew to Revelation in the New Testament. (II Timothy 3:16; I Corinthians 2:13);

Concerning Creation

toggle arrow

God created man (male) and woman (female) to be life together, to be fruitful, to multiply and to replenish the earth. Eve was called the ‘wife’ of Adam, giving to the man the institution ordained of God called marriage, requiring that a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. This is the Bible’s only provision for marriage. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime and is a sacred institution established by God. (Genesis 1:27-28; Matthew 19:4-6);

Concerning Communion

toggle arrow

The table of the Lord, commonly called the Communion or the Lord’s Supper is for believers. (I Corinthians 11:28-32; Matthew 26:26-28);

Concerning Baptism

toggle arrow

Water baptism is a necessity for believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is administered by immersion, thus bearing witness to the gospel of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection for us, and our own new life in Him. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:34-38; Acts 19:1-6; Romans 6:4);

Concerning The Great Commission

toggle arrow

The Great Commission was given by Christ and is binding on every believer to “go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature” with the good news of the gospel. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-16).
